Lenten Mission Service and Dinner - March 19, 2023
On March 19, 2023, our church hosted a Lenten Mission Service for the Third Sunday of Great Lent. The parish was blessed to have Father Barnabas Fravel, Father James Weremedic, Father Vjekoslav Jovicic, and Father Edward Hughes serve, and we very much appreciated having Father John Onofrey direct a choir consisting of many parishes.
Visitors attended from Minersville, Frackville, St. Clair, Coaldale, Harrisburg, Williamsport, and the Mt. Carmel Ministry. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and the ability to jointly celebrate the Mission Service.
Following the Lenten Mission Service, we had a Lenten dinner in the church hall for all in attendance, and everyone enjoyed this fellowship opportunity.
