Blessing of cars and annual picnic - July 25, 2021

On July 25th, we had our traditional blessing of vehicles following Divine Liturgy, and we continued our social gathering in the church hall for our annual picnic. We were pleased to welcome parishioners from SS. Peter and Paul's Church in Minersville, PA, their Rector, Rev. Joseph Ramishvili, members of the Mount Carmel Borough Police Department, and Matushka Theodora Ressetar and her family.

The events were a great opportunity for community members and parishioners of two local Orthodox parishes to get to know each other better and to show mutual support. We are also thankful to have had our local ice cream shop, Pepe's Famous Italian Ice, bring their ice cream truck to our church for the picnic.
