Holiday preparations and Vespers - December 3, 2016

On December 3rd, our parishioners spent the day together doing for others and preparing for the Nativity while celebrating the giving spirit of St. Nicholas.

Holiday preparations

The youth of the parish made a gingerbread house while other members baked cookies for residents of Serenity Gardens and for the sick who are unable to attend church. We also wrote out hundreds of Christmas cards for nursing home residents, parishioners, and friends of the parish.

Vespers, carols, and cookies

Later that day, following Vespers at Serenity Gardens, the choir sang Christmas carols to residents, and we handed out cookies and hand-decorated boxes of candy.
